Building Rome
(alternative / rock)
www.buildingromerock.com
They say Rome wasn't built in a day, and Jon Heisserer would probably agree. As the vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of St. Louis-based Building Rome, Heisserer has been working to promote his brand of bipolar, verge-of-insanity pop rock since the band was formed in 2003. After six years of writing, recording, playing shows, and promoting relentlessly, they have amassed some amazing results. Building Rome has recorded three albums and an EP, developed a mailing list of over 7,200 fans, played sold out shows at 1,000+ capacity venues, opened for Fall Out Boy on their "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" tour, and have statistics on MySpace.com and Myxer.com that rival some major label acts.

Along the way, Heisserer has found a group of solid musicians to complete the band. Tom Butler (bass), and Brian Porter (drums) bring a new perspective to the music and live show. "Brian is the most solid drummer I've ever played with and Tom's backup vocals are amazing. It's really great to find people who are just as dedicated as I am to making it in the music business," notes Heisserer. "It's been a long road, but we know that only good things can come in the future, no matter what it takes or how long."

Devil Baby Freakshow
(new wave / punk rock)
www.myspace.com/thedevilbabyfreakshow
In late 2004, a group of friends converged in a St. Louis basement with the simple intention of "Just getting through a song without messing up". Soon, the Devil Baby Freakshow would evolve into what you see today: a group of six who come together to create a performance with a fury of modern kitsch and old school sensibility. With combined musical influences from punk, blues, jazz and new wave genres Albert Casey, Andy Hundley, Josh Hundley, Lucas Kohlman, Shelley Muellhaupt and Al Swacker strive to make The Devil Baby Freakshow an unexpected experience. They play with the usual suspects of guitar, bass drums and vocals, with an extensively trained trumpet player and a pair of tap shoes added to the mix.

Science Hill
(rock / reggae / jazz)
www.sciencehillmusic.com
Every now and then a band comes along and does something truly profound with the music they create. They make it more than just music, they make it more than just an experience, they make it a state of mind. St. Louis, Missouri's *SCIENCE HILL* is one of those very bands that does just that. *SCIENCE HILL * (formed in June 2007) is the brainchild of Dave Seithel and Jeff Nations, both former members of the St. Louis funk rock outfit Essence Of Logic, along with former Resolution drummer Chris Seithel and former Motherhead bassist Chris Barnes. Promoting their unique beach rock style, Science Hill was quickly signed to EliteROCK Records in early '08 until the label folded in late '09. In that time the band completed several national tours, released music worldwide and were featured in a couple indie films. Now, fresh off EliteROCK, the band is seeking a new label and continuing their tireless grassroots promotional efforts.
